Another Dollar Chaser leaves Cuba's National Baseball Team

Another Cuban baseball player, Aroldis Chapman, age 21, lured by the dollar mermaids, has left the Cuban National Baseball Selection Team.

I think that he is making a huge mistake. The good Cuban baseball players remain in the island and play for the national honor of being in the baseball team which represent the island in international competition.

Remember what happened to El Duque? The New York Yankees discarded him faster than you can say "Down with Fidel Castro."

I wish Aroldis the best of luck. But in his country, he is now a pariah. Because he is black, he will also have to deal with the inherent racism and xenophobia that are daily ocurrences in La Yuma.
