If I can not visit my family in Havana, I will not visit Cuba at the end of 2020.

On this issue, Cuba and I are on opposite ends.

I am not willing to be manipulated by the PCC.

Kidnapped by the revolutionaries of the 26 of July Movement in 1958.

The kidnapping of Fangio was a very strong and courageous act
by the Revolutionaries of Fidel Castro in 1958.
The news spread like wildfire.
Cuba became free on January 1, 1959.

ESPN did not even exist back in 1958. I was a student at La Salle del Vedado.
Unfortunately for us kids, the son of Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista was also in the building.
The SIM patrol cars were a strong presence in the corner of 13 y B.
Most of us fell sorry for Batista's son. He did not have any friends in the school.
The kids were all middle class and were strongly in favor of 26th of July Movement.
The rest is history.

Eight Wonderful Days

I just returned from visiting my 15 relatives in La Habana.

It was my best vacation, ever.

This trip was made possible because of the great efforts of my first born son and his wonderful wife.

The weather was superb in December. And Cuban food is the best: delicious and reasonably priced.

I hope that we can do it again in the future.
